The American dream has always been about a better tomorrow, about children doing better than their parents. But today, Americans are spending more to buy less. 

Washington’s reckless spending has driven up costs and red tape is choking opportunity. It’s time to start America’s growth engine again. That means reining in wasteful spending, letting Americans keep more of their hard-earned money, and cutting needless regulations so small businesses can thrive. 

We must bring manufacturing home, curb foreign investors pricing out families, and create conditions where the next generation can afford a home. A strong economy starts with freedom — freedom to work, build, and keep more of what you earn.

As a small business owner of over 20 years, I know the importance of balancing a budget. Arizona families and businesses do it every day – why can’t Congress?

I support a Balanced Budget Amendment to the United States Constitution. And in Congress, I’ll fight to get our spending under control. For too long, both parties have spent without regard for whether we can afford it. This is a non-partisan issue – if we don’t deal with our spiraling federal debt, there will be major economic and national security implications.

As the son of immigrants, I understand the value and promise of America. And protecting the American Dream also means protecting our borders. 

It’s a simple principle that people should knock on your door before they come in. But under Joe Biden, we saw a complete and utter disrespect for the law and sovereignty of our nation. 

Unlike Greg Stanton, I will support more resources for our border agents, as they have the tools and support to properly secure our border. As your representative in Congress, I would take my responsibility representing our border state seriously and prioritize the security and safety of our nation.

Every child deserves access to a world-class, high-quality education, no matter their income or background. Unfortunately, too many families are stuck in failing schools, and entrenched special interests have only made things worse for these kids and their parents.

That’s why I support educational freedom in education, and funding students — not systems.

In Congress, I would be a supporter of policies that empower parents and bring more dollars to the state to fund the best choices for Arizona families.

We’re spending over $300 billion a year on drug treatment and $200 billion on obesity care, and we deserve better outcomes. 

As a physician, having practiced primary care in the trenches in our community for over 26 years, I know what works and what’s broken in our healthcare system. I will put the health and freedoms of Americans first, and I’ll stand up to the special interests that are focused only on the bottom line.

America is unhealthy, and we saw a boom in obesity, drug use, and mental health problems after the pandemic.I was one of the few prominent voices from within the primary care medical community across Arizona and America who spoke up against the weaponization of government and the medical establishment during the COVID pandemic. The pandemic was exploited for ‘disease trading’ and taking away the individual rights of every American and their family to make their own healthcare and business decisions. I’m so glad to see a renewed and positive focus on health under President Trump’s leadership, and I believe Americans deserve a continued focus on making America healthy again. 

We need to stop subsidizing our ailments and start solving them.

We must strengthen America’s standing on the world stage. That starts with a prepared military that has up-to-date equipment and a ready fighting force. As a Navy veteran, I understand how foundational this is to our national security.

I will dedicate my work in Congress to restore our military readiness to the levels commensurate with the national security and defense our citizens need and deserve. The current percent of GDP related to our defense forces is far below where we should be in order to maintain the level of strength necessary to continue to be feared across the planet.

Long term, just as our enemies are advancing the ideas of Marxism, socialism and Islamism across the planet against our ideas, it serves our interests, our security, our values and the human rights of others who share them for America to be present globally in the war of ideas for liberty and freedom. Where those ideas are absent, that vacuum is filled by malign actors like China, Iran, or Qatar to name a few.
